The Agency Side is an alternative to tired creative industry clubs and meetups. Think of it as therapy for agency execs, where egos are checked at the door and we commiserate about what keeps us up at night. It’s an informal collective of peers, compatriots, and idols getting together to vent, provide insight, and support one another.
What We Do
Strengthen our collective creative community by connecting and supporting one another.
How We Do it
Through organizing and sharing our unique, varied experiences in an effort to help each other learn and grow.
This session, we’re tackling a topic that’s as unavoidable as it is uncomfortable: public politics in the workplace. Not office politics—real-world, real-life, real-impact stuff. Think: how laws and public policies (like abortion access, healthcare rights, or DEI rollbacks) affect our teams personally, and what it means to talk about these things at work.
In Part 1, we’ll focus on the personal/HR side.
In Part 2, we zoom out to the brand/culture level.
Expect open discussion, no grandstanding, and a space to wrestle with the messy, modern reality of leading creative teams in politically charged times. As always, we’ll kick things off with a happy hour and crowdsource questions and advice via the suggestion box and Slack.
We’re pointing a spotlight on the incredible talent and work being produced by the creative minds within agencies located in Northern New England. By connecting and organizing, we can build more attention and become better versions of ourselves by learning from one another.
Big shout-outs go to 36 for hosting at their office space🏡, the amazing Brett Cromwell for setting the vibes with his rekkids🎶 , and to the talented Colby Todisco for helping us capture the event📸.
